Credit Life Insurance

Backed by the security of First Canadian, Credit Life Insurance protects your family from further financial obligation, should you pass before your car loan is fully repaid. The policy is administered directly between your lending institution and First Canadian, so your car loan will be paid-off directly in the event of your death. Premiums are affordable, and you can choose to be covered for the entire length of the loan, or a shorter period. No physical exam is required, and qualifying is as easy as answering a few simple health questions. Protecting your loved one's is easy and affordable, thanks to Pacific Honda and First Canadian.

Disability Insurance

Another of life's nasty little curveballs is the inability to repay your car loan due to injury or illness. This can damage your credit, and leave you without a way to get to the doctor or physical therapy. That's why Pacific Honda teamed with First Canadian to offer the security of Disability Insurance. It doesn't matter if you're injured on or off the job, or you become too sick to work, First Canadian Disability Insurance will pay your car loan until you're able to return to work.

Once the disability has continued beyond the waiting period, your monthly payment is automatically paid on your account. Benefits can even be paid retroactively from the first day of the disability if you elect that plan. Benefits continue for as long as you remain disabled as defined in the policy. You may claim as many times as necessary during the term of your coverage. All disability insurance programs protect the entire term of your loan, or a shorter period if you select short term benefits. Also, partial payment disability benefits are available to allow you to tailor the coverage and the premium to your specific needs.
